Captive-bred mandarins are much easier to care for than wild-caught ones because they're already trained to eat prepared frozen foods like mysis shrimp and even some varieties of pellet. Just make sure your tank is well-established with plenty of live rock for them to explore, and keep the water quality high since they can be sensitive to fluctuations.
